Divorce Litigation Part 2

Divorce Litigation is a viable option when:

  • You and your spouse are unable or unwilling to communicate.
  • You can’t resolve issues by any other means.
  • You want legal representation.
  • Your spouse won’t provide required financial information
  • There is a history of domestic violence, a restraining order is in place

Litigation tends to be the most costly, lengthy, and adversarial way to divorce. It also gives you the least control over the result — if your case goes to trial, then the judge rules on the outcomes.

But if litigation is the best or only option for you, take a deep breath and try not to worry! There are plenty of resources and support to guide you through.
