Divorce Mediation Part 2

Divorce Mediation may be a good option for you if:

  • Complexities of your case are medium to high.
  • You and your spouse are willing and able to engage in good faith negotiations.
  • You want a cost-effective option.
  • You want a thorough and customized agreement that you can fully control.
  • You want the terms of your divorce to be confidential.

Divorce Mediation may not be the best option for you if:

  • One spouse unwilling to engage.
  • There is a power imbalance in the relationship: It can be easy to feel pressure to simply agree to keep things moving without a lawyer there to represent you.
  • There isn’t complete financial transparency.
  • You or your spouse don’t currently have the mental or emotional capacity to make decisions.
