Summary Divorce

This is the simplest form of divorce, and it’s only possible when certain conditions are met. The specifics vary by state, but typically the spouses must:

  • Not have children
  • Have been married less than five years
  • Have few to no shared assets or debts
  • Not have marital property or separate property worth more than $35,000

If you and your spouse meet these requirements, Summary Divorce is a quick, inexpensive option. Be sure to check your state laws for more information.
